The shot of the year has to be Tigers 12 footer on the 72nd hole of the US Open. He knew he had to make it and he did. He at the time had to know it was going to be his last event for quite a while. Can you imagine how much he wanted to make that putt?! And like always, seemingly, he did.

I'd say the shot of 2008 was Tiger is 4th round putt on 18 (in the US Open) to go to the playoff. The reaction, especially that of his caddy (Steve Williams) was priceless.

l think the shot you are referring to when Tigers ball stopped and then rolled in was at the 2005 Masters. He was on the 16th green l believe and the ball broke atleast 20ft. It was a chip. Woods was on the back and the flag was on the left side of the green(to his right) and in the center.
He hit it perfect and it just seemed to stop at the edge and it went it.
One of his best shots ever.
