A few days ago a man hit my car and tried to run away, we followed him for 10 to 15 minutes before we dropped off. He later turned himself into the police and said he was scared for his safety. There was 2 grls in the car, 1 baby and 2 poodles. He was driving a huge truck, and the police officers never filed a hit and run because he turned himself in? What can we do? We have grounds for hit and run case. Depsite the fact we were on major streets that were fully lights with tons of people he did not stop. Do we have grounds for a hit and run case?
