It is certainly not Palmetto Dunes. They push folks off the tees every 8 minutes with all levels of play and let you fend for yourselves for a nice 5 and half hour round.

The best private course is Long Cove. The best public is Harbour Town. The RTJ course at Palmetto Dunes is nice.

definately harbour town which is public. that is where the pros play the week after the masters every year.

definitely Harbour Town - in Sea Pines. It is where the PGA Tour goes the week after the Masters. You have to either play in middle of fall or early spring, or else the course is gonna be dry and impossible to play. It is a really fun course and it definitely has challenges. it is my favorite course there. for sure.
