whats wrong with keeping Paul Azinger after all he has just won it? l suppose you could go back to having Hal Sutton as captain or even Tiger woods

for europe l think it should be ian woosnam as it is in wales!! or even olazabal, l think he would be good, actually l tell you who would be a good capt is sandy lyle!

for america, l would not be surprised if they kept azinger on, other than that you could have jim furyk, l think he'd do a good job, maybe a bit early tho. america is harder! lol

go to be someone with a bit of charisma faldo was a bit dud.give it to woosie l say

l do not see why Olazabal wo not be given the Captain is job. He showed all weekend he has the ability; following the guys around the course during their matches giving them support, advice, etc while Faldo was off playing up to the cameras.

While his accent may be frustrating, he definitely has a better character & poise than Faldo.

As a side note, l do not think Azinger will keep the job. He attracted far too much negative attention for his picks before the event & caused the PGA some trouble (as did Faldo). Even though his picks played out well, he went about it totally the wrong way.

As it will be in Wales, I'd go with Woosnam. Look at how Europe did in 1997 with Ballesteros on Spanish soil.

l think Sandy Lyle should get it, as all the major winners in his era have had a go. If he is overlooked, that will be his chance gone, which would be a real shame, as he was a wonderful player, with a wealth of experience that could be put to good use.
