l just invested in my first Scotty Cameron putter.l have previously had an odyssey white hot, odyssey two ball DFX, Rossa Mezza Monza and a Rossa Modena Tour, but l finally nutted up and splurged on a Scotty Cameron Studio 1.5, the only thing is that it did not come with the divot tool.l am wondering if it is worth buying a divot tool for $15.l am just worried about how well the divot tool will stay in the headcover (in the holes it was designed to be held by).Anybody with a cameron that can attest to how well the divot tool is secured by the headcover?Thanks.

l just keep my divot took in my pocket during the round, because that is the most convenient place for it to be. l leave my divot tool in there when l give my bag to the bag room in between rounds but l would not recommended leaving it in their for a round of golf. Who knows if you toss it on the grass next to your sand wedge if it will fall out. l know we all have left a sand wedge on the side of the green, so imagine how easy it must be to leave the divot tool.

From my experience the tool does not stay on the head cover very well.
It is a very nice tool however, so you might want it anyway. l do not see too many people with the tool still on the head cover.

it will fall off easily. if you play a lot of public courses , it may be worth your while, to change head covers . you will be surprised at the number of clubs stolen daily . mini courses number one target . easy in easy out . just ask any course for putter cover from lost and found . better save than sorry

I've had by SC divot tool for 4 years. If you get in the habit of putting it into your pocket before you start and putting it in the same pocket in your bag when you finish, you will never lose it. Great tool. I've used many, but l always go back to it. You will love your SC putter. It is worth the dough l am sure you shelled out for it. Good luck!
