It is important to find the clubs that fit you. l have an R7 driver,Cleavland wedges, Cleavland hybrids Two differant taylormaid fair way woods, and several putters. Find a place that will let you hit the clubs befor you purchas them. Also a good stor will usually have a good exchange policy once you purchas them. Its the fit that counts.

Only a putter because every golf club has a different flex which means some you have to swing harder or faster with then others. Pretty much if you had different clubs you would have to change you swing for that specific club. So l would say stick with the same set. With the putter being a exception.

Your putter can be any shape, style or form so long as you have confidence when you use it. As for the woods, one is wise to have them of the same make, swing weight, shaft flex and lie angle .This gives uniformity to the feel of the woods. The same holds true for the complete set of irons. All the sets of irons l ever purchased had a good feel. One could detect the weight of the club head and they were comfortable when hitting a shot.

Your woods should all be the same and your irons should all be the same. They can differ between woods and irons. Wedges should all be the same as well but do not have to match your irons. Putter can also be different as well. The best idea is to get fit for clubs. l bought several clubs at different times simply because l could not afford the full set.
