Best not to. That shaft is on its way to breaking. A few scratches is fine, but a crack in it will already have compromised it, and that will only get worse with each impact. The good news is that if the head and hosel are not damaged, you can have a new shaft put in.

Cracked is cracked..its like a little broken...but broken is broken in my opinion.Its just not safe to use. And yes even a little crack affects performance
