Next week i will be trying out for my golf team.l played on the team last year and barley made it.The problem l have this year is that i've barley been able to play because of money issues.I've already played 5 rounds which spent all of the summer money that l worked for in early july.l really enjoy the game but I am starting to think that it just is not for me because my parents very rarely pay for me and i'm now all out of money. If you tell me to get a job i've already thought of doing that but I am cIass representative of my grade and l play two other sports, and l am in couple of clubs as well, so l wouldn't' have time to put in the hours they would want.What should l do with this dilemma?

Practice your chipping and putting. After all, a great long game and iron game means nothing if you can not putt and chip.

Only suggestion is explain situation to course manager see if you can trade some hours working for green fees
or do some cadding attournamentss get your name out there with cards and in pro shops sport shops even a small ad in the newspaper

Collect golfs balls more fun.

find somewhere where you can practice your chipping and putting for free. try out for the team and if you make it great because it does not cost money to play on the team.and if you do not make it do not take it too hard.

Golf is a great place to meet a lot of different people. You need to think about ur future. You said that u r the class representative for ur grade. When, u r in the business world. You r going to play a lot of golf with business people. You will make a lot of business transactions on the golf course too. l would work on my short game like the previous comments mention. If you are really serious with golf then l think you should focus on the game of golf entirely because you play two other sports, and in that time you can quit playing the other sports and support yourself financially for golf because l am telling you, golf is not an easy sport.

l would get a job on the weekends maybe caddying. Because if you are a caddy not only do you get payed very well. On slow days yo usually go out and play for free.

In the future you should try to get a golf membership to a place. its much cheaper in the long run. And you could always work on your short game. it is what shaves strokes off your score. you could also get to a local driving range and hit some balls. its much cheaper than going to an actual course and playing
