l recently bought some Ping g2 black dot irons off of ebay. And they have not got here yet. So l was just wandering how well do they hit for all the people out there that own them. And my friend has a set of g5 black dot Irons and l hit them and have not hit anything more solid in my life. So are the g5 is a big difference from the g2's. And im 5'9 and 15 years old so do you think the black dot should fit me fine. Thanks alot...

well first of all the dot has some to do with ur height but mostly for u swing. the black dot is standard dot meaning not degrees flat or upright. so if u r buying ping clubs without getting fitted, black is a safe bet. also if it is the wrong dot if u do get fitted go to the local golf shop & they will bend them for u to fit ur swing.

the g2 & g5 r very similar. if u like the g5s u will most likely like the g2s the only difference is that the g5s r newer & a bit better. but if u like the g5s the g2s will be very similar. when they first came out l used them & loved them. but as l improved l went on to the i10s which r great also. but great choice with the g2s u should love them.
