l am 15 and starting my sophomore year at high school. l have been playing golf for around 1 year seriously and messing around with my dad every once and a while before that. During the golf season last year l was shooting around 98-103 for 18 and l think 47 was my best for 9 holes. ( we only play 9 holes in matches ) l played in a few tournaments over the summer and l have really improved, l just went out today and shot a 86! My lowest score so far, but l shoot 91 regularly now. l was just wondering what do you think l should be shooting now, a year from now a few years from now. Any thing will be helpful THANKS!!!

probably low 80s eventually, it really depends on your school, at my school we have to shoot in the 70s to make varsity, but some schools do not have tryouts, or they have very easy tryouts, but most people 15 or 16 try to shoot in the 80s

OK, just keep practicing. After you get done practicing you should then practice some more.
Actually for your birthday ask for a lesson from a real PGA pro, then you will practice the right things. - this is very good advice.

It depends on how much time you put into it. Seek out quality instruction if you really want to improve your game.

l too shot on average a 47 for a 9 hole round in high school.
l improved over the years & l am now shooting 78-80 consistently for a 18 hole round.
Just keep working on it & u will get there. l never received formal training from a PGA Pro & any other type of teacher. l did it all on my own.
l am an advocate of self teaching. Just observe better players. Ask questions & play around on the range. There is no need to pay those ridiculous fees for lessons.

It depends on how much you practice and whether you get structured practice and lessons or not.
If you do not get any lessons, and work on your weaknesses, expect to improve 2-3 strokes per year. If you get lessons, you can see much faster improvement.
