l tried using my dad Sasquatches both the square and oval one. Neither are fade drivers. l tried a cheap department store straight driver and l have the same problem.l also used a TP Tour Burner but that one is supposed to slice a little. l had this slicing problem before but then l fixed it with moving my hands over but now it came back even with my hands moved back over, l was not saying it was the clubs fault i'm slicing. l just said that so you do not think it could possibly be the club. l just got a new K. Cobra Speed LD F and l am not slicing as bad. BTW this club is boss!!! Yourall helped.

Your probably cutting across the ball, make sure you swing in to out like your swinging to right Field or for your grip, make sure the v is that your thumb and pointer finger make point at your shoulders for a natural grip. It does not matter what driver you use a slice is a slice.

It doesnt matter what driver your using your going to slice it without a proper swing. Try shifting your weight back onto your back leg on your backswing and a good shift back onto the front leg on the way down. This has helped me in the past.

Things to check:
Body Alignment. Many people align their feet, but not their shoulders, & end up having an open stance because of their shoulders. Make sure ur shoulders, feet, & hips r all square or even closed to the target line.
Swing Path. Make sure u r swinging in to out.
Ball position. If the ball is too far away, u will have a tendency to open the club at impact as u try to reach for the ball.
Hip turn. Are u turning ur hips enough? If u do not turn ur hips & turn ur shoulders aggressively, u will have an open club face.
Club release. If u do not release the club through the ball on ur downswing, ur club will have an open face.
l used to slice - in order to get rid of it, l forced myself to TRY to hit a hook by aligning my body (feet, hips, & shoulders) to the right of the target, while still swinging across my body line & trying to hook the ball towards the target or left of the target. This forces an in to out swing with a closed club face. Once l get my the feel of the swing path & release, l adjust slowly back to a more square stance.

Try loosening your thumb, it should be as if the club is gonna fall.

l do not know if you've ever played tennis but you should imagine you're trying to hit a topspin forehand with your driver. l know this is an exaggeration but it will give you the feeling of your right hand coming over rather than under when you follow through. This should stop you slicing the ball pretty quickly. no matter what club you're using!!!

Without being able to see what you are actually doing...All we can do is shotgun ideas that may or probably not help you. the only proven method to stop slicing is lessons and practice.

Try this stand at a comfortable distance from the ball keep your knees bent take a half swing back to the ball 2 times then when you feel right after doing the waddle take oyur backswing back a lot slower than normal then swing through slower but when your arms are at a right angle with your body push through but dont take over with your right hand or you will hook it. Hop this helps you mate l wnet through he same problem its frustrating.

Work on your takeaway. You probably take it way inside forcing you to come back from the outside. Keep your left arm well in front of you during the back swing. A drill to help is by placing a head cover on the out to in path forcing you to swing in to out.

This worked for me, basically turn the face of your driver in. You're probably turning your club face out on the downswing, which means that your club is striking the ball with an obtuse open face which leads to a fade. So, turn the face of your club in a little and keep trying it until you straighten out your swing.

It is all about keeping your eye on the ball thru your swing and thus keeping your swing plane perpendicular to your stance. Feel your left shoulder contact the left side of your chin on the backswing and more importantly feel your right shoulder contact the right side of your chin thru your swing. This will keep your head still and eliminate the ''flying elbow'' that you probably have. Try it, it works! As you said, it is definitely not the clubs. It is you!

Maybe u without a proper swing or u need impove ur swing as follow: Look for this symmetry, back & through
You may have heard of the expression 'connection' used in the context of the golf swing. It refers to the working together of the body with the hands & arms (as opposed to these components working independently).
The basic positioning exercise that u see over these pages will remind u of the symmetry that exists in a sound swing- the 'connection', if u like, between the arms & the body that underpins ur consistency.
From the set-up, make as if u r holding a football in the palms of ur hands, & simply turn ur arms & body together to create what would be the first move away in the backswing. Turn ur body until ur arms & hands r parallel with ur target-line (far left); then, as u unwind, rotate ur body into the through-swing to finish with ur arms & hands again parallel with that line.
Maintaining this neutrality with the hands is a sure sign that ur arms & body r working correctly, in a logical progression. Any tendency to reverse-pivot & close the clubface going back will show up like this (inset far left), while failing to unwind & release the hands correctly may well result in this type of fault on the way through (inset left). Analyse the motion & u see that these faults defy logic - tilting or rocking the shoulders, the hands & arms r clearly at odds with the body.
Those of u who work out at a gym can take this a stage further & train with a good swing.
'Crossover' is ur key to speed
One of the characteristics that we can identify with the better player is this crossover of the hands & forearms immediately though impact. The result is a mirror-image of the backswing as the wrists re-cock & the club works up on plane on its way to the finish. Rehearsing the exercise clearly gets ur arms & body on the right track. With a club in ur hands, there r two key checkpoints to look out for.
First, looking at ur swing from this angle, the shaft should be seen to bisect the left shoulder as the club swings up into the follow-through. That tells u the swing is on plane. Second (and this is best observed from face on), u can clearly see ur left hand under the right - a rare sight for most amateur players. This confirms that u have released the club, the crossover of the wrists & fore-arms maximising ur acceleration through the ball.

u can fix ur slice yourself if u understand the physics of impact. It is easy, the ball tells u everything u need to know. The ball will start in the direction the clubhead is moving & curve the direction the clubFACE is pointing in relation to the club head travel. A slice or fade is simply an open clubface at impact. If u swing straight down the target line with an open clubface (pointing right) the ball will start straight & curve to the right. If u swing across the line from outside to inside the target line with the clubface looking down the line the ball will start left & curve back to the right. To hit it square consistently, u need a good grip, swing in tempo & balance & do not over swing (too hard) . A good book to study is ''Practical Golf'' by John Jacobs, about 15 bucks on Amazon.com
