l asked a question earlier about how to tell on a girl on my team cheating. We had told the coach (the rest of the team) and we had a team meeting. We told our coach and he had a talk with the mother. She denied it and they still allowed her to play. We all do not talk to her anymore and also her mother. We are still winning but now the rest of the teams in our county are calling all of our scores not legitimate. We can not tell either. We had a course monitor for 2 tournaments and her scores were high again by 6 - 9 strokes. It is not fair for us because we are a young team. What should we do? We will be going into the playoff tournament now but it seems that everyone will be calling all of us cheaters now.

She probably should have been kicked off the team since she is the one cheating. Sounds to me like you guys are playing it fairly, and she is the problem. l do not think she should have been allowed to continue playing since you guys (and the coach) knew about it. She should be kicked off now for sure.

How did the other teams find out?

The only other option is to drop off the team. If all the players decide not to play with her, the coach will not have a team. He may decide then he has to do something about her if he wants a team.

Golf is a game where you are supposed to be honest and call a penalty on yourself when you make one. If she does not understand that then she should not be allowed to play nor should the coach that allows it be able to coach. Next time she pulls that during a match simply go to the official after the match and point out where she erred in her score and they will do the rest. That is why your opponent should be watching and counting strokes also.

BTW, do you have a camera setting on your cell phone? If a picture speaks 1000 words, 96 of them when she calims 87 would bury her.

Golf is about your game, do your best, play hard and by the rules and you will have self respect, which is the most important thing.
