Everytime l take my full swing, when l have it back and parallel to the ground I am fine but when l start to bring my body around and bring my club down, my shoulder pops. It makes a really loud noise and it hurts really bad. l have messed up shots because it sends a stabbing pain through my shoulder. Its my right shoulder by the way (im a right handed golfer). Anyway, l was just wondering if this has hapened to anyone else. l do not know what is going on but l really do not wanna stop golfing. Any ideas/suggestions would be welcome.

What you are experiencing is definitely not a normal thing..your plans to see a Dr. are very appropriate.discuss it with the Dr and see what he or she comes up with.

Sounds like you just need a good massage, golfbabe ;-P

Make sure your grip is loose, arms are relaxed and try a slower tempo and transition at the top if you have not already.

If that does not help, buy a shoulder wrap. The pressure might help keep it from popping.
