l can not believe it.

my 2 previous coaches told me,
that l move my waist too much.
as much as l try to improve my practice,
it gets worst.
now, my 3rd coach also said the same thing.

what is wrong with me?

if you ask me,
i think my back and core is weak.

i had a back injury before because of a wrong turn,
so i'm quite afraid to do the follow through.

i hate to admit it but i'm a couch potato as well.
but now, i will try my best. promise!

can you help me work my muscles out?




are there drills or exercises for that?
do you know any links or own practices?

It sounds as though u r favoring ur back due to the injury by sliding ur hips. Try this. Take a five iron & with feet together hit balls with a 1/2 swing...1/2 on the back swing...1/2 way on the follow through. This will improve not only ur weight transfer..but ur contact point as well. Once u r used to no hip movement expand ur stance gradually till u get back to ur normal stance. the muscle memory will enhance a better turn & weight transfer for you.

Swimming is great exercise for golfers. It works core, shoulders, cardio, and fast twitch muscles. Swim fast laps, don’t do multiple slow laps. Also racket ball, basketball, tennis.
You look young, so another good thing to do is improve overall strength. Your probably need to lift weights, shoulders, legs, bench press, anything for hand strength.

Get off the couch. Golf is a sport that takes lots of practice.

l was having the same problem and l went to see a personal trainer. Since then, l have been getting more power from my core, and a leaner midsection. My trainer has developed a ''Golf Workout Routine'' with additions from me an aspiring PGA Apprentice. referance the links below.
