My husband wants golf balls for christmas, any suggestions on some good brand names.Nothing real expensive.

yeah, the Titleist Pro V1 is & Pro V1x is would be good deals for christmas. only thing is, if he plays in USGA sanctioned events, those balls r no longer legal, due to Callaway winning a patent lawsuit against Acushnet (Titleist is parent company). If he doesn't, do not worry about it! Go for the Titleists! Thanks to the court order, they will be getting a price cut soon, if not already.

If he does play in USGA events, he could be disqualified with those Pro V1's, so here r some alternatives.

Nike One (Platinum or Black), Srixon (Z-URC or Z-URS), Callaway (i or iX), Bridgestone (B-330 or B-330S) r all good options in the $40-$50 range.

Wilson Tx4, Nike Ignite, Callaway HX Hot Bite, Bridgestone e5+ or e6+ r good options in the $25- $30 range.

If you act quickly, go for Titleist NXT Tour - good performance at a good price and most golf shops are offering to have them imprinted, or with holiday pictures on them at no extra charge. The Pro V1s are expensive at $40 a dozen. NXTs run about $20 a dozen. Nike and Callaway are good names as well.
Maybe get him a gift certificate inside a golf hat and he can pick what he wants.

Titleist Pro V1 is top in market now.

Titleist NXTs are every bit as good as the Pro V 1s and can be purchased at about half the price. See your local pro shop or golf store. They may have other suggestions as well.

l play the Ping Mojo balls. Nice spin and soft to hit. You can get them at a Nike Outlet store for 2 dozen for $30. Plus, they look cool and, at least if l am not playing well, l am looking good;-).

Titleists r the best selling balls, but also the most expensive. l recently started playing the Top Flite Gamers. They r a 3 piece ball that r great around the green as well as good for distance & they r only $19.99. If u want to go for distance, try the Top Flite Freak or the WIlson 50, they r both around $15.00.
For something funny, try the Schwetty balls, u can find them at some golf shops or online at schwettyballs.com, they arent too bad of a ball for a novelty item. They even come in blue

l have played all sorts of balls in the not real expensive bracket and plumped for wilson pro staff as the one is l prefer.

well you could get the recycled golf balls that are almost brand new balls but they may have some nicks or scratches but nothing bad. Normally they come in about 20 balls to even 48
