Tiger has disliked Vijay ever since Vijay is caddie wore a hat a few years ago that had ''Tiger Who?'' embossed on the side of it.

l have not read anything about phil being hated but l have heard about vijay rubbing people the wrong way. though, the angst l have read about phil is that he is very reserved that many people seem not to take a liking to that.

Tiger and Vijay go out of their way to say how much mutual respect they have for each other. Neither has much good to say about Phil, and Phil and Vijay have had run-ins a few times on tour. Phil is commonly regarded by his fellow pros as phony, and his nodding and smiling to the gallery as an act. That is the biggest reason for the dislike; the other pros think he is fake.

''Why dont people like me?'' is 100% correct. Tiger was very upset when the whole ''hat'' thing happened. Tiger knows he is most well known athlete in the entire world. so when someone tries to say otherwise it upsets him.
l have not quit figured out why people do not like phil. l know everyone out at the course that l play with call him ''phat phil'' we just do not like him. l do not know why it has just always been a tradition of ''phil hating'' at the club l play at.

People do not dislike Phil, there is no fued any other way, this is always hyped up by idiots (like all of us pretend to know people) & we fabricate stories that joe told fred who heard it from john whos cousin read it in the Denmark paper & so the list goes on. People always have dislikes against each other on the course & thats what happens in any sport, but like true professionals that is also where it stays!! because phil is still the spoiled punk kid with the collar up on his t-shirt playing the country club. that is why. plus he talks too much, the guy could interview himself for an hour, that should be a new show on the gold channel. ''Phil Interviews Himself'' saturday nights at 8 est. vijay is just a scumbag. he was seen flipping off Augusta national the year he won as he drove away, no class robot-scum. as far as tiger goes the kid came from nothing. was not rich fought his way up, not to mention the racial stuff.

according to me all r fine golfers. n esp phil he is regarded as quite good in the golf world. n tiger himself acknowledged the fact in 2003 when phil was upset tht he cudn win a major until then even tho he was no.2. he said phil deserves a major n afta tht he won a major in each of the next 3 yrs.

It could very well be that from time to time Phil seems to show some of the top guys up with his generosity. We all assume that all of these guys do lots for charities etc & they do but Phil has been caught doing some things for fans that r above the norm. At one event after bouncing a ball off a fan & asking if he was alright the fan said that he was lucky & that the shot had only broken his watch. Phil without hesitation took his Rolex off his wrist & handed it to the guy. At another event in Phoenix Phil stopped between holes & spoke to a young fan for a second & then reached into his bag & gave the kid a pair of tickets to the Superbowl. When asked about it Phil said he could not make it to the game & wanted someone to have the tickets that would be able to use them. Phil gets caught doing these things & does not look for publicity but because he is on camera a lot the media pick up on it & some of the guys who do not get much publicity think it is an act & he is trying to make them look bad. You have to decide for yourself if there is an ulterior motive to Phil is treatment of his fans. As for Vijay there is no other player on tour who goes out of their way to help out young players with their games. It has also been said by many that he helps a lot of these young guys with becoming comfortable with tour life & making them feel right at home with the big boys. If some of the stand-offish guys do not like it so be it. l doubt if he does any of these things to show anyone up but when u r dealing with egos anything can happen.

Here is what l know- l marshal at the Canadian Open when it is being played in Ontario. l had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mickelson during a practice round. He could not have been more pleasant to me during our 30-second exchange (typical of most tour pros). l also watched him sign autographs for at least 45 minutes after his round, & generally being a ''fine fellow, well met'' to the gallery.

Vijay.best avoided. Being curt & acting like a big-time Charlie with people who volunteer (not me, but two kids working the range) is not impressive.

Does that make either one a jerk? l have no idea what they r like in a locker room.

As to Woods' caddy, the guy is a thug & a bully who needs to keep his mouth shut, & just keep cashing those giant checques he gets from Woods every week.

He does not hang out with a lot of the other pros, so he is not well-known in those circles. Odd, given how long he is been on Tour, but according to some golfers, true. Stuart Appleby said in a Golf Digest interview that he comes across as fake (he was quick to clarify that he WASN'T, just SEEMED) because Mickleson tends to take a while to answer questions. Appleby mentioned that he seemed calculating, like he really thinks about his .

Tiger & Mick get compared to Jack & Arnie. They were both on-again, off-again buddies in the beginning, went to heated rivals, & then to full-on buddies. Tiger & Mick started out like Jack & Arnie, with Mick basically thanking Tiger for increasing the paychecks of all Tour Pros, & Tiger complimenting Mick is short game (''The best in the world'') & believing that he'd win a major.

Then came the Ryder Cup, & their ill-fated pairing against Westwood & Clarke. After Mick sliced his drive into an unplayable lie, the death gaze Tiger gave him was spine-numbing. Like he was saying ''you just REALLY made me want to break you''.

Will they reconcile? Probably, but both of them need to open up more. maybe when the grind gets to be too much for them. Or Tiger breaks Jacks major record, whichever comes first.

Nobody really talks about Mick is autograph sessions for fans after rounds, usually doing them till the sun starts to set. Unofficially, the only one that could keep up or beat him at that would be John Daly. His charitable events r good, too, like giving needy families a school-supply/clothes spending spree on his dime.

LOL- l had an epiphany for the Star Wars fans like me. Tiger (Han Solo) is the guy we'd like to be. Mickelson (Luke Skywalker) is the guy we actually are. the Every Man. I've read how that ''Aww, shucks'' attitude grates on other Pros, but it is endearing to his fans.

Might it kind of be like a ''Jeff Gordon effect''? But that is opening a whole new can of worms.....
