Im having trouble figuring out what should go in my golf bag, this is what l have so far.10.5 driver, 15 degree 3wood, 21 degree 5 wood, 21 degree 4hybrid, 3-pw, 55 sw, and 64 loft trouble wedge.Any advice on which club l should add and get rid of, or replace?greatly appreciate any help.

Well, you already have 14 clubs and did not mention anything about a putter yet so you should probably lose one. either the hybrid or 3 iron depending on which one you hit better.

the 5 wood & 4 hybrid r identical c21 degrees
so l would drop one in favor of the other
and would drop the 4 iron in favor of the hybrid keeping the 3 only for emergencies

but club selection is based on what u hit well so,
i would go to the driving range & tee up in the grass area, using wood or plastic tees, & get a feel for ur clubs

my bag is sort of unique
i have a 12.5 degree 2wood, a 16 degree 4wood, a 20degree 3 hybrid ,5-9 irons & 4 wedges a pw a 52 degree Gap wedge a 56 degree Sand W & a 60 degree LW

Get rid of the 64 degree wedge and replace it with a wedge of 52 degrees to fit between the PW and the SW. The 64 degree is too specialized, requires infinite practice to master and has very limited use whereas the gap wedge will be of greater utility for the average golfer. However , if the club count is correct you have to get rid of a club . With the hybrid you should rid the set of the 3 iron. That will suit your purposes just fine.

The purpose of the hybrid clubs are to replace long irons that many amateur golfers have trouble hitting. Most sets that come with hybrid clubs do not come with a 3 or 4 iron, because the hybrid replaces them, so if you do not hit your 3 or 4 iron particularly well l would remove that and that would get you down to 14 clubs with your putter. Then maybe get a 60 degree wedge to replace the 64.

Drop either the rescue or 5w (both same loft but shaft length may be different, go with longer shafted club as you can choke down if needed) , add a 52* gap wedge and change the 64 to a 60 or to save $ - have a club fitter/repair person bend your 64 to 61 or 62.
With your putter youre at 15 sticks. drop the the 3 iron to be legal

3 iron out. 23 0r 24 hi bird if you can afford one. if not 5 wood toss. 58 degree wedge. with practise 4 iron out. 51 degree wedge. this will give you 5 wedges. have used same number wedges 4 seasons . old guy . handicap droped. health pr obs should have gone up. 5 wedges will be normal 3 more years. 64 great club. very wise move.

your over the limit =P get rid of your 21 degree 5 wood and your 3 iron.

Boy allot of experts here!!!! first of all most pro is have more than 14 clubs. think about that for a second!! they the pro is have an arsenal of clubs depending on the courses they r going to play. if u have to play a course the is short u will need more wedges. If u r playing a longer course the u need is for less wedges & more woods or hybrids. the choice is the course them selves that determine what u should use. l should know l was Tiger Woods club-maker while he was an amateur. So space the clubs accordingly. But the way u have a gap from PW to the 55 there should be a 51 or 52 in ur arsenal

If l were you l would drop the 3 and 4 iron and the 64 wedge. Replace with a 50 or 52 Gap wedge and a 60 wedge.

Speaking purely from my own experience, l have never needed to hit an 8 iron. Some people will swear they live by the 8 iron but never hit the 7 or the 9. My point is there is probably a higher lofted club you've rarely if ever hit and could drop in favor of putting something else in your bag.

You do need to drop one out to pick up your putter. If you like using a lob wedge, you could drop out your 3-iron and replace your 64 wedge with a 60.

l would drop the 64 degree and replace it with a 60 degree lw, this is a good club you can use for around the green. l would also drop one of those 21 degree clubs, no need for two of them. Replace that with maybe a 51 degree wedge, you already have the distance in your bag, so try out that 51, you will find it is a great club to hit for those not a pw or sw shots, you need more short game clubs.

l would definitely add a putter.but youve already reached you 14 club limit. Get rid of the 64. Its a worthless novelty club. You can open the face on your sand wedge and get the same results.
