im 15, handicap is a 13, the best part of my game is my short game, it is just my long game, but that will eventually come around, l quit football and have decieded to play golf, since quitting l can hit out of bunkers consistenly, short game is better, and l can putt alot better also. i've been on my golf team since l was an 8th grader and and i'm the second best on the team. Note: no l do not wanna be the next tiger or phil, just a guy that does not win a lot of tournements, but is still pretty good, and l also golf everyday or at least try to during the summer.

Well if u want to become pro. You should first be playing for ur high school team if u have one, then be playing competitive tournaments. Then the best way u can become pro is to play college golf. The best way u can play college golf is to attend the IJGA, the International Junior Golf Academy where Hank Haney, Tiger is coach is the head instructor with campuses in Hilton Head, SC, & one in the central coast of California. Students that go to the IJGA r all aspiring golfers from all around the world who want to play college golf, & hopefully become pro. Students that go there attend the IJGA for a full school semseter or school year, so u can try to go here next semester, or for ur junior or senior year. It is a full academy with academics in Heritage Academy in the Hilton Head campus, which u can finish high school, & u live in house dorms with roomates & house parents. In the IJGA, u work & improve in ur game by getting coached by Hank Haney & his instructors. Then u play competitve tournaments with other students for the IJGT, the International Junior Golf Tour, & from there, that is where colleges see u for scholarships. Not everyone that goes to the IJGA gets a scholarship, so if u don't, u can stay there for their post graduate program, where it is the same thing, u improve & work on ur game, go to school in the same time, & u can still have a shot in playing college golf. On what scores u have to shoot, u have to at least shoot in the low 90s to make it in the IJGA & improve & work on breaking 80 competitivly, & colleges want u to score 70 or lower competitivly ocassionly. There was a show in the Golf Channel which shows lives of students in the IJGA starring Hank Haney. The show is School of Golf: Hilton Head Island, but since the show is not in season anymore, u should check ur TV listings when it is on, or u can watch videos online like recaps on the show. l highly recommend watching this show before considering going there. But u should go there if u have the will, because u will be away from ur family & home if u do not live in or close to Hilton Head, or in central California coast, & of course if u have the money, which is really expensive which is $47,000 for a full year just for the golf, & another $11,000 for the academics, & it is lower if u go there for a semester, or weekly or monthly. They also offer Weekend, which is 3 days, Holiday, & Summer programs which is lower, if u can not afford the regular school year program, but they do not really help u in college golf, but at least attend it if u have the money, they run about $1,500 each program. l highly recommend going here if u have the money if u want to become pro, attend the IJGA, it is the best way if u want to suceed in golf. The IJGA has 2 campuses so u can go to the closest one from ur place, & also recommend it if u live close to the campuses. They have campuses in Hilton Head, SC, & the other one is in Arroyo Grande, CA which is south of San Luis Obispo in the central coast of California. For more information about the IJGA, & the show School of Golf: Hilton Head Island, the websites r below in the sources.

You can but u have to structure ur life to suit. Make sure u make time for practicing & seeing ur friends, as u can become disheartened if things arent going ur way & u dont seem to have any outlet to take ur mind off it, also get yourself booked into a professional for lessons to see what is keeping u at a 13 handicap as u want to be around the +3 mark to be somewhere on tour there r rare times when people r higher but it is rare. And most of all have patience & understand it wont happen over night it takes time, & comitment to a long term goal. The reson l say this is my friend was off +2 at 15 & still hasnt broken onto tour & he got frustrated as it didnt happen over night.
