There are lots of hotels near courses so just book in one of these !!!

Scotland is very overrated. A friend and l went to South Wales last year to play a few first class Links courses. There is this new course called Machynys (its Nicklaus design) which has probably the best greens l have ever played. We also played Southerndown, Porthcawl and Pennard. We booked through a company called Countrywide Golf Holidays who were helpful.
